Ingrid Deler-Garcia is a Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) and has been practicing full-scope midwifery since 1990. Her experience encompasses gynecology, family planning, prenatal, intrapartum and postpartum care. She is one of eight nationwide recipients of the American College of Nurse Midwives 2019 Clinical Star Award. Ingrid received a Bachelor of Science with a Major in Nursing from The City College of New York, and a Master of Science in Midwifery from SUNY Downstate Medical Center, College of Health Related Professions. She has been a clinical preceptor to Medical, Physicians Assistant, and Midwifery students from various institutions including New York Medical College, Columbia University, SUNY Downstate, and Einstein School of Medicine.

Ingrid values diversity and is passionate about providing excellent care to all women. She has worked in private practices and community health center settings and is happy to return to the Phelps hospital community.
