Dr. Carcione is board certified in Neurology by the American Board of Psychiatry & Neurology with Added Qualifications & Certification in Neuromuscular Medicine. He also holds boards in pain management from the American Academy of Pain Management. He has attained New York State certification as a physician acupuncturist. He is an active member of the American Academy of Neurology, the American Association of Neuromuscular and Electrodiagnostic Medicine and the Society for Experimental and Clinical Hypnosis.

Dr. Carcione’s interests are largely in the fields of neuromuscular disease, neuromusculoskeletal, occupational disorders, clinical neurophysiology, sport neurology and Performing Arts Medicine. He is proficient in the use of medical acupuncture, Travel injection therapy and manipulative medicine in their management. He is an expert electromyographer and performs a large number of electromyography procedures each year. In addition, he is well versed in the practice and technique of medical acupuncture and osteopathic manipulative medicine, continuing to service patients from the New York Tri-state area.
