Reiki (Ray-key) is a Japanese word that is translated as “Universal or Spiritually-Guided Life-force Energy. There are two parts to the word. Rei means All-encompassing and All-knowing, as in your Higher Power or Divine Inner Self. Ki means Life-force energy. Ki is the energy that runs through everything at all times. It is the energy that holds and binds all living things together. There is an unlimited amount of Ki flowing into and around the Earth that anyone can tap into and extract for healing and /or strength.
