Diastasis Day

Do your core muscles feel strong? Ever have back or hip pain? Got some issues "down there" after child birth? Join us to assess your core health and move forward towards your goals!

Diastasis Recti is a separation of abdominal muscles that can cause pain, instability in the pelvis, and weakness in core muscles. While men, women and children can experience a diastasis, it is common after pregnancy and CAN be healed at any age! On Diastasis Day post-partum moms will learn to assess their abdominal muscles, treat diastasis, and use core muscles in all daily movements. You'll leave with exercise "Do's and Don'ts" that if followed consistently will change the way you look and feel about your body. Follow up support for this program is offered in Beth's Women's Yoga and Mommy & Me Yoga classes, and you'll receive a coupon for a 10-minute a day DVD workout program called The Dia Method. The class will also address pelvic problems as an introduction to Beth's Pelvic Yoga workshop to ease pain and increase pelvic floor strength.

To register, call Full Circle (914) 421-1500. Fee is $40 and includes handouts. This class is for post-partum women only (of any age and experience). Please make child care arrangements so that we can focus on YOU!
