Navigating Fatherhood Together
The profound life change of becoming a father can be one of the most transformative experiences that we as men, face. When babies are young, the experience can be deeply satisfying, as well as overwhelming. Many of our ideas ideas about fatherhood are rooted in our own experience with our fathers. Many of us struggle with feelings of isolation as attention is focused on mom and new baby.
As families grow, some of us are anxious about our roles as provider. Many of us would like to be more supportive of our partners, but are at a loss on how to juggle it all. In this four-week workshop series, men find an opportunity to connect with one another and participate in a facilitated discussion about the topics that are on their minds.
Together we’ll explore our various roles and how they change as we become fathers, with the goal of enriching our lives and enhancing our abilities to be the best dads and partners we can be. This group is open to expecting dads, new dads as well as dads of toddlers or older children.
Take all four workshops in the series or drop in to any workshop.
